Horace Bucklin Sawyer autograph letter signed, 1835 Jan. 11.

Autograph letter signed from Sawyer, of Burlington, Vt., to Washington Dennison, Esq., of Freeport, Me., mentioning his capture on Lake Champlain on board the U.S. sloop Eagle in June 1813 by British forces, and the injuries he sustained, including deafness. Sawyer needed Dennison to substantiate for pension claims.
